  • 1 gal apple cider
  • 1 6-oz can frozen concentrate orange juice
  • 7 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 1/2 t whole cloves
  • 1 t whole allspice
  • Cheesecloth and kitchen string, optional



Step 1

Combine cider and frozen orange juice in small soup pot. Place cinnamon sticks, cloves and all spice in double layer of cheesecloth, tied with kitchen string. Lower bag into juice. Simmer mixture, covered, for one hour over low heat. Strain if not using cheesecloth bag. Serve cider warm (it can be reheated).
