David's Chocolate Chocolate Cream Cheese Brownies

Ingredients
- Cream Cheese Swirl:
- 6 oz. milk chocolate
- 5 Tbsp. margarine
- 5 Tbsp. sugar
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup chopped almonds
- 1/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup crushed chocolate-covered pretzels
- Whipped cream or ice cream, to garnish
- Chocolate sauce, to garnish
- 2 oz. cream cheese at room temperature
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1/2 tsp. flour

Step 1
Brownies:
In a medium-sized, microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate and margarine for 15 seconds at a time until melted. Stir until smooth. Stir or whisk sugar into the chocolate mixture; add eggs, vanilla, and 3 Tbsp. chocolate syrup. Stir until completely mixed. Mix in flour and cocoa powder until well blended. Stir in the almonds, white chocolate and chocolate chips, and chocolate-covered pretzels. Spread the mixture in a well greased 10-inch skillet that has been sprinkled with cocoa powder.
Swirl:
Prepare the swirl by mixing cream cheese, sugar, egg yolk, and flour until smooth. Spoon over brownie batter mixture in pan, swirl with knife to make a "marbled" pattern. Bake at 350°F for about 30 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out almost clean. Cool in pan on a rack.
Cut cream cheese brownies and serve with whipped cream or ice cream and chocolate sauce.
