  • 1 pkg lemon cake mix
  • 2/3 c flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 c veg oil
  • 1 lemon juiced and zested
  • 1 tbs poppy seeds

Step 1

In a large bowl combine cake mix flour, eggs, veg oil, lemon juice and zest. Beat on low speed until blended.
Divide dough in half.
Form logs and place on prepared baking sheets.
Bake at 350 until golden brown and firm to the touch.
Cool. Cut logs on the diagonal and place back in oven for about another 10 mins.
