Stainless Steel Cleaner

Ingredients

• 18 quarts very warm water
• 1/2 cup lye
• I cup Clorox bleach
• I cup detergent (any kind)

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve lye in water. Add bleach and detergent and mix well. Soak pots and pans for 5 minutes or so in this solution, removing plastic handles if possible. Dip aluminum cake pans for just a minute. Also use on Tupperware, Corelle, silverware, utensils, and burners. Solution can be kept for a few days if your cleaning is not done. No matter how dirty the solution is, it will still clean. Pour solution down the drain when fin¬ished.
