  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup boiling water

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Cream butter and sugar.
3. Add molasses, egg and flour with spices and baking soda and mix.
4. Ass water.
5. Batter will be thin.
6. Pour into greased and lightly floured 9" x 13" baking pan.
7. Cook 30 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
