Ingredients

  • 16

    oz tomatoe sauce (homemade or canned organic)

  • 4

    oz canned diced green chile, undrained

  • 1

    small onion, chopped

  • 4

    tsp chili powder

  • 2

    tsp ground cumin

  • 1/4

    tsp dried oregano

  • 2

    clove minced garlic

Directions

1. Combine all ingredients in food processor. Puree until well mixed 2. If you do't plan to use immediately, may place in freezer container and freeze. Will need to complete step 3 one you thaw. Heating time may increase on frozen sauce-whisking helps bring it back to an even consistency. 3. If plan on using: Place sauce in saucepan and heat over med-low heat approximately 5 minutes or until heated through.
