Ingredients
- 1/3 cup flour
- 2 tsp dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 1/2 lbs round steak, 1" thick
- 2 tbsp oil
- 4 large tomatoes, peeled and chopped
- 3 large carrots, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar

Step 1
1. Combine flour, mustard, salt and pepper. dredge meat with this mixture, then work the flour into the meat with a meat pounder. Cut steak into 4 individual portions.
2. In a heavy skillet or Dutch oven, heat oil and brown meat on both sides.
3. Combine tomatoes, carrots, Worcestershire and brown sugar and pour over meat. Cover and either bake in a preheated 350F oven or simmer on top of stove for about 1 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
