Ingredients
- 1 can 20 oz pineapple slices
- 1/4 c butter melted
- 2/3 c brown sugar
- 10 maraschino cherries
- 1 pk 18.25 oz yellow or pineapple cake mix

Preparation
Step 1
drain pineapple, reserve 3/4 c juice
stir together melted butter and brown sugar in 12 inch skillet with heat proof handle.
arrange pineapple slices in sugar mixture.
place cherry in center of each slice.
prepare cake mix according to pkg instructions,replacing some of water with reserved 3/4 c juice. poor batter over pineapple.
bake 350 degrees 35-40 min. until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
cool 5 min. loosen edges, invert onto serving platter
