Ingredients
- 1/2 pound 95% lean ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, pressed
- 1 (26-oz.) jar pasta sauce (your favorite)
- 1 (12-oz.) package Lasagna noodles
- 1 1/2 cups low fat cottage cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 cups shredded part-skim Mozzarella cheese

Step 1
In a skillet, saute beef, onion and garlic over medium-high heat; drain and blot grease with paper towels. Add pasta sauce and blend well. In a medium bowl, combine all three cheeses (cottage, Parmesan and Mozzarella). Spread a layer of meat mixture on the bottom of a slow cooker then top with a double layer of uncooked Lasagna noodles (you’ll probably have to break them to fit). Top the noodles with a portion of the cheese mixture then the sauce mixture, noodles and cheese again, till it's all gone. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 8 hours or until noodles are tender.
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: A big salad is all you need.
