Holiday snowball cookies

Ingredients

• 3 sticks butter softened
• 3/4 cup powdered sugar
• 1 tablespoon vanilla
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3 cups all purpose flour
• 1 package toll house holiday shapes
• 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
• powered sugar for sprinkle

Preparation

Step 1

Pre heat oven 375

beat butter sugar vanilla and salt in a large bowl until creamy. Gradually beat in flour. Stir in holiday shapes and nuts. Shape dough into 1.25 inch balls (tablespoon size) Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 10-12 min until cookies light brown and set. Let cook and sprinkle with powered sugar.
