Ingredients

  • 10 lbs spareribs, cut into serving pieces
  • salt and pepper
  • paprika
  • 3 teaspoons vegetable oil
  • 4 onions, sliced
  • 2 cups ketchup
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon celery seed

Preparation

Step 1

Prep Time: 15 mins

Total Time: 30 mins

1 Season ribs with salt, pepper and paprika.
2 Heat canner, add oil and brown ribs.
3 Add onions.
4 Combine remaining ingredients and pour over ribs.
5 Close cover securely.
6 Place pressure regulator on vent pipe and cook 15 minutes at 15 pounds pressure.
7 Let pressure drop off of its own accord.
