• 1 stick butter
• 2 cups brown sugar
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 2 eggs, well beaten
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 cup flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 3/4 cup chopped nuts, optional
• Powdered sugar

Step 1

1. Grease 9x13" pan. Preheat oven to 350F. Cream butter and sugar. Add salt, eggs, vanilla, flour and baking powder. Mix well. Fold in nuts if desired. Bake 25 mins. Cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into squares.
