Ingredients

  • 1 cup plus 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 stick butter softened
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1 12 oz pkg semi-sweet morsels

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees
2. Combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside
3. Beat brown sugar, butter and vanilla until creamy. Add egg and beat well
4. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in 1 cup of the morsels
5. Spread into foil lined 9 inch square pan
6. Bake for 23-25 mins
7. Immediately sprinkle remaining morsels over top. When shiny spread evenly
8. When cool, make cuts and chill 10 mins to set chocolate
