Ingredients
- 1/2 cup brown sugar firmly packed
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 tbs ample extract
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups toasted pecans
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3/4 tsp baking powder

Step 1
In a bowl, cream sugar and butter. Add maple extract, eggs and pecans. In a medium bowl, combine flour and baking powder; add to pecan mixture.
Divide dough in halves or thirds. On a well floured surface, shape into logs. Transfer logs to a parchment lined baking dish.
Bake for 15 to 20 mins at 350. Cool for 5 mins. Cut logs diagonally and return slices to oven for 10 nto 15 minutes .
