Ingredients
- 2 lbs. green beans
- 2.5 cups water
- 2.5 cups white vinegar
- 1/4 cup canning salt
- 4 dill sprigs
- 4 garlic cloves, peel, flatten
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes or
- 8 jalapeno peppers

Preparation
Step 1
Wash and cut beans so they are ½” shorter then jars.
Bring vinegar, water and salt to a boil and keep hot.
In each jar; 1 dill sprig, 1-2 cloves garlic and/or red pepper flakes and jalapeno peppers. Pack beans in jars, as many as possible. Add vinegar, leaving ½” headspace. Hot water bath 10 minutes.
