Sweet and Sour Chicken

Ingredients

• 6 Chicken breasts
• 1 medium onion, chopped
• 2 tbsp bacon drippings
• 2 tbsp vinegar
• 2 tbsp brown sugar
• 1/4 cup lemon juice
• 1 cup catsup
• 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• 1/2 tbsp prepared mustard
• 1 cup water
• 1/2 cup chopped celery
• Salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Brown onion in bacon drippings. Add other ingredients and simmer 30 mins.

2. Place chicken in baking dish and pour sauce over chicken. Bake, uncovered, for 1 hour at 325F. Baste near end of cooking time.
