Ingredients

• For small (1 lb.) machine:
• 2/3 cup (152g) lukewarm water
• 1/4 cup (57g) lukewarm milk
• 2 tablespoons butter or margine
• 2 1/2 cups (10.5 oz./298g) King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
• 5 teaspoons sugar
• 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
• 1 teaspoon active dry yeast

Step 1

Put all of the ingredients into your machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Program the machine for basic white bread, and press Start.
