Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp soda 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup hot water

Step 1
Cream sugar, shortening, and cocoa. Add eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients . Mix soda with milk and add to mixture. Add boiling water. 9x13 pan or 2. 8 inch pans.
Bake 350 for 30-40 min.
