Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350*
grease springform pan
Mix the crumbs, sugar and butter, press into the bottom of the pan. Bake for 12-15 minutes. Remove and sprinkle with the chocolate pieces. Let them melt and then spread them evenly over crust.
For the filling :
beat the cream cheese until light, mix the sugar cornstarch and salt together and add at once. Add the eggs, sour cream, vanilla, and 1 cup of the cream. Until blended and smooth. Divide batter in two bowls with pour spouts. In one add the melted German chocolate, in the other add the melted white chocolate. To create "zebra" design, pour half of the dark batter into pan, then holding the white batter about 2 feet above pour about half into the center, pouring from this height will create a bullseye or zebra effect. Now repeat 3 times decreasing the pour amount each time. Top of cake should look like a series of concentric circles. Bake 30 minutes then turn oven to 225* and bake for 1 hour 45 minutes longer. Make sure
the center is set.
Glaze:
Heat the 1/2 cup remaining cream and add the rest of the German chocolate and spread over till set.
