  • 6 ounces Swiss or sharp cheese, grated
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1/4 cups half & half
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 6 ounces crab
  • 1/2 green onions, sliced
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • dash pepper
  • dash nutmeg
  • dash Louisiana hot sauce
  • unbaked pastry shell

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350*.

Prepare pie shell or tart shells.

Toss grated cheese with flour. Place into pie shell or tart shells.

Combine cream, eggs, crab, onion, seasonings and hot sauce. Mix well.

Pour egg mixture over cheese.

Bake at 350* for 55-60 minutes for pie, or 30 minutes for tarts, or until brown and puffy.
