Ingredients
- 26 caramels, or store bought caramel
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 1/3 cups chocolate chips
- 1 tsp shortening

Step 1
Line an 8" square pan with plastic wrap; set aside. In a microwave- safe bowl, combine the caramels, milk chocolate and cream. Microwave 1 minute, stir and microwave for I minute longer,repeat this process till mixture is smooth.. Spread into the prepared pan. Refrigerate 1 hour or more until firm. Lift them out of pan and cut into 30 pieces, roll them into ball. Then melt the chocolate chips with the shortening and dip the candies, then place on wax paper to set.
