Ingredients

  • 1 lb Hamburger
  • 1 26.5oz can Hunts Traditional pasta sauce
  • 2 14.5oz cans diced Italian-style tomatoes
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Tbsp Garlic Salt
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 3 dashes Nutmeg
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 16oz container Sour Cream
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Lots of shredded mozzarella and/or Italian blend cheeses
  • 12 Lasagna noodles

Preparation

Step 1

In a large skillet, brown hamburger. Drain off the fat and add diced onion. Fry until onion softens. Add tomatoes, pasta sauce, garlic salt, 1 tsp salt, nutmeg and brown sugar. Cover and simmer on low.

Mix salt and pepper (to taste) with sour cream and stir thoroughly.

Cook lasagna noodles.

Spray a 9x13" pan lightly with cooking spray. Spread a thin layer of sauce in the bottom of the pan. Lay down a layer of noodles. Put a stripe of the sour cream mixture down each noodle, then add sauce, then a layer of cheese. Repeat layers: noodles, sour cream, remaining sauce and cheese.

Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes.
