Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cup flour
  • 4 eggs, seperated
  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped black walnuts

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375F.
Cream butter and sugar until creamy.
Add egg yolks until light and foamy.
Add dry ingredients and milk alternately.
Add vanilla and nuts.
Beat egg white until stiff peaks form.
Add to batter and fold in with a rubber spatula.
Bake in a well greased bundt pan for 1 hour.
Can be glazed with powered sugar.

For Glaze:
4 tbs butter melted
2 cups powered sugar
2 tbs milk
1/4 tsp flavoring of your choice.
Mix well and drizzle over cake.
