Spinach Dip with Pumperknickel

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 pkg. Knorr vegetable soup mix
  • 10 ounce pkg. frozen spinach, thawed and chopped
  • 2 loaves whole pumpernickel bread

Preparation

Step 1

Thaw spinach, squeeze it out and chop it into small pieces. Place in bowl.

Combine remaining ingredients except bread and mix with spinach. Refrigerate overnight.

When ready to serve, cut out the center of one loaf, leaving approximately one inch around the sides and 2 inches on the bottom. Cut up the removed bread and the other loaf into bite size chunks.

Serve the dip in the "bread bowl" with chunks of bread around it.
