Preparation

Step 1

"Cracker Barrel" type apples for ONE. When I just want a little something sweet, this is my go-to. I used one huge honeycrisp apple from Costco (so maybe 2 medium or 3or4 small) cut into thick slices (I cut my huge one into 12 slices and kept the peel on) and add 3/4c water and set to pressure on high for 1 min. THATS IT! Any more and you will have applesauce lol. Quick release and then added 1 Tablespoon butter, 3 T brown sugar and 2 tsp cornstarch and set to the saute function until it thickened. Soooooo good. A sprinkle of cinnamon too. **I have the 6 qt. It took 5 min to come to pressure, cooked for 1 minute, and less than a minute to saute so 7 minute "fried apples"!
