Chili-Cheese Burger Bake

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 small red pepper, chopped
- 1 11 oz can whole kernel sweet corn, drained
- 1 pkg taco seasoning mix
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 16 oz can refried beans
- 1/2 cup taco sauce
- 2 cups fritos
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Step 1
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Spray 8-inch (2 quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. In 12-in skillet, cook ground beef and onion over meduim-high heat until cooked, drain. Stir in red pepper, corn, taco seasoning mix, and water. Cook over medium-high heat 5-6 minutes or until liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, mix refried beans and taco sauce.
Spoon half of the beef mixture into baking dish. top with half of bean mixture and half of fritos. Top with remaining beef mixutre and bean mixture. Cover with foil and bake 30 minutes.
Remove baking dish from overn. Uncover; top with half of fritos and sprinkle with cheese.
Return to overn; bake uncovered 10 minutes longer or until thoroughly heated and cheese is melted.
