Ingredients

  • Yellow cornmeal
  • 1 1/2 cups packed dark brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 cups butterscotch flavor pieces
  • 1 cup miniature round caramel bits
  • 1 cup toffee pieces
  • 1 cup lightly salted cashew pieces

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 13x9" baking pan; dust with cornmeal. Set pan aside.

2. In large pan, mix brown sugar and butter. Cook and stir over medium heat until melted. Remove from heat. Add eggs, one at a time, beating with a wooden spoon after each addition. Stir in vanilla. Stir in flour, baking powder and salt just until mixed. Stir in butterscotch pieces, caramel bits, toffee pieces, and cashews.

3. Pour batter into prepared baking pan, spreading evenly. Bake for 25-30 mins or until golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack until cool. Cut into bars.
