Strawberries Romanov

Ingredients

• 1/4 cup orange-flavored liqueur
• 1/4 cup orange juice
• 2 T brandy
• 1 pint strawberries, washed and sliced
• 1/2 cup whipping cream
• 1-1/2 T confectioner’s sugar

Method:

In a small bowl, combine liqueur, juice and brandy. Add sliced strawberries to mixture; stir well. Cover and chill for 8 hours or overnight. Stir the berries occasionally.

In a small bowl, whip cream with mixer until frothy. Add sugar and beat until soft peaks form.

Gently fold the strawberry mixture into the whipped cream, until strawberries and whipped cream are completely combined.

Serve in sherbet dishes.
