Ingredients
- Cake:
- 2 cups stout
- 2 cups butter
- 1 1/2 cup cocoa
- 4 cup flour
- 4 cup sugar
- 1 tblsp bkg soda
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/3 cups sour cream
- Frosting:
- 2 cups whip cream
- 1 lb bittersweet chocolate, chopped

Step 1
Bring the beer and the butter to boil. Add the chocolate and whisk to cool and blend. Mix the flour, sugar, bkg soda, and salt. Beat the eggs, add the chocolate mixture, then the flour.
Bake in 3 cake pans that have been sprayed with Pam in a 350* oven for 30-35 minutes. Do not overcook.
For the frosting, bring the cream to boil and add the chocolate and put a lid on it for 15 minutes. Then mix with a blender till it reaches a spreading consistency.
