Ingredients
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 cup white wine
- 2/3 lb emanthaler
- 2/3 lb gruyere
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 tblsp cornstarch
- 1/2 cup kirsch
- Pepper and nutmeg to taste

Step 1
In a heavy pan rub the garlic clove around the sides. Bring the wine to a boil. Mix the cheese with the cornstarch. Add the cheese in batches to melt , then add the lemon juice and kirsch.
