Ingredients
- 1 lb. scallops
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 tsp. soya sauce
- 3 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
Step 1
Combine orange juice, wine, ginger and soya sauce in a small bowl and blend well.
Melt butter in a large skillet over high heat. Add scallops and cook, stirring frequently until the scallops are opaque, about 2 or 3 minutes.
Remove scallops and place on serving platter.
Add orange juice mixture to the skillet and bring to a boil over high heat and cook, whisking, until the sauce is slightly reduced, 1 to 2 minutes.
Return the scallops to the pan and cook until just heated through, about 1 minute.
