Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 cup cold water
- 2 T flour
- 1 t seasoning salt
- salt to taste
- 1 large can cream-style corn
- leftover mashed potatoes

Preparation
Step 1
Brown ground beef; do not drain. Add hot water and seasoning salt and salt to taste.
Mix flour and cold water until smooth. Stir slowly into pan and simmer until thickened. Make a 1/2-inch layer of mashed potatoes in the bottom of the casserole. Spread the ground beef on top of the mashed potatoes.
Spoon the cream-style corn over the beef/gravy layer.
Carefully spoon mashed potatoes over the corn layer and spread evenly. You may wish to re-heat the potatoes before adding them to the pie. Dot with butter.
Bake at 375˚F for 30 minutes or until bubbly and browned.
