Ingredients
- 1/2 cup egg substitute
- 1 3/4 cups 1% milk (I used skim)
- 1/2 cup fat-free plain yogurt (I used nonfat vanilla yogurt)
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- Sugar substitute equivalent to 1/2 cup sugar (I used Splenda)
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Preparation
Step 1
1. In a mixing bowl, beat egg substitute until frothy.
2. Add the milk, yogurt, and vanilla; mix well.
3. Combine the flours, sugar substitute, sugar, baking powder, and salt; stir into milk mixture just until combined.
4. Bake in a preheated waffle iron according to manufacturer's directions until golden brown.
Notes: These were great! We used skim milk and plain yogurt, and regular sugar.
