Ingredients
- 2 pounds turkey kielbasa, cut into 1 1/2 inch pieces
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1/3 cup minced shallots
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups white beans, dried
- 2 cups water
- 1 tablespoon dried Thyme
- 1 teaspoon celery seeds
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cans nonfat chicken broth

Preparation
Step 1
1. Heat a large nonstick skillet over med. heat. Add sausage. Saute` 5 minutes, or until browned. Remove from pan and place in an electric slow cooker.
2. Heat the oil in pan over med. heat. Add shallots and garlic; cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
3. Sort and wash beans. Add beans, shallot mixture, water, and remaining ingredients to the slow cooker. Cover and cook on HIGH for 8 hours, or until beans are tender.
Notes: Good but clearly needed more spice and flavor to it -
