  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 3 cans clams, minced or chopped
  • minced fresh parsley
  • parmesan cheese
  • pasta

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat butter and oil in skillet. Add garlic, saute until nice and fragrant - 3-5 mins (add a bit of the clam juice from one of the clams if they start to stick to the pan.

2. Add clams, with their juice, simmer about 5 minutes or so, seasoning with lots of pepper. Add parsley just before serving.

3. Serve over pasta (we like angel hair with this), topped with cheese.

Notes: Easy and excellent. A family favorite made often.
