Ingredients
- 1 tblsp butter
- 3/4 cup green onions
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 2 tblsp sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp bkg powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp bkg soda
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups cheese
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cups buttermilk
- 1 tblsp minced canned chipolte in adobo
- 1 egg beaten with 1 tblsp cream for glaze

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375*
sauté 1 tblsp butter and green onions for a minute to soften
Blend dry ingredients, add butter through a grater. Add the eggs and cheese and chipolte and then the onions, and buttermilk. Then knead a few times and form biscuits. Put on cookie sheet and glaze then bake for about 18 minutes.
