Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 2 tblsp yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 5 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tblsp flour
  • 1 stick butter,melted
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tblsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • Glaze:
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 tblsp milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve yeast in warm water with a pinch of sugar. In a mixer beat the eggs,add yeast, add 1 cup of the flour till smooth. Add the melted butter and mix well. Add remaining flour in stages until a good dough is formed.
Put it into a greased bowl turning once to coat and cover and raise till double.
Roll out a 12-15 inch rectangle, then spread with melted butter, sprinkle the cinnamon sugar and nuts over. Then roll up and cut into 8 portions. Put into a greased pan and raise again.
Bake @ 375* for 20-25 minutes. Them glaze.
