Ingredients
- 1 pound linguine
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 shallot (minced)
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (or more to taste)
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined, tails removed
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (about 1 lemon)
- lemon zest
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Step 1
Cook linguine according to package directions; keep warm.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and heat oil until hot.
Add garlic, salt, and red pepper, shallot and garlic 1 to 2 minutes. (Do not brown.) Stir in shrimp and cook 3 to 4 minutes, just until pink. Stir in wine, lemon juice , zest and parsley; mix well. Serve immediately over warm linguine.
