Ingredients

  • Cake layer:
  • 1 box graham crackers
  • 2 small pkg. french vanilla pudding and pie filling
  • 3 cups milk
  • 9 oz. cool whip thawed
  • Chocolate frosting:
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Cake Layer:

1. Mix all ingredients except graham crackers.
2. Spoon 2 or 3 tbsp. in botton of 9" x 13" pan. Layer 15 graham crackers on next.
2. Layer 1/3 pudding mix next, another layer graham crackers, another 1/3 pudding mixture, graham crackers, ending with remaining 1/3 pudding mixture.

Frosting:

1. Boil sugar, cocoa milk and salt for 1 minute. Remove from heat.

2. Add 1/2 stick butter and 1 tsp. vanilla.

3. Beat and pour over cake.

4. Refrigerate several hours so the Graham crackers will become soft.
