Ingredients
- 1 pineapple
- 2 Tbl. grated lemon zest
- 1/2 cup sugar
Preparation
Step 1
1. Trim and peel pineapple. Cut fruit lengthwise into quarters and remove core. Cut each quarter in half crosswise, making 8 sections.
2. Combine lemon zest and sugar in a ziploc bag. Rub to blend flavors.
3. Working with 1 or 2 sections at a time, place pineaggle in bag with sugar mixture; turn carefully to coat. Grill over medium-low heat, flipping often, until caramelized and slightly softened, 5 to 7 minutes. Cool slightly before serving.
