Ingredients
- 3 1/2 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup nonfat dry milk
- 1/2 cup potato flakes
- 3 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
- 1/2 cup cinnamon-flavored chips
- 3/4 cup chopped dried apples
- 1 1/3 to 1 1/2 cups water*

Step 1
Add ingredients to machine according to manufacturers directions.
Select Basic White cycle and press start. Check the dough's consistency about 7 minutes after the kneading cycle begins, adding additional water or flour to form a smooth, soft ball of dough.
Makes one (1 1/2 pound) loaf.
*Generally you'll need the lesser amount of liquid in the summer, and the greater amount during the winter.
