Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, cubed
  • 1 cup plus 2 Tbs all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2/3 cup 2% milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/1/2 cups coarsely chopped pecans
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup Brinkley’s toffe bits
  • 1 1/2 cups boiling water

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place butter in a 13x9 inch baking pan; melt in over, 3-5 minutes. Meanwhile, combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; stir in milk and vanilla until combined.

Remove pan from oven; add batter. Sprinkle with pecans, brown sugar and toffee bits. Slowly pour boiling water over top. Bake, uncovered until set, 30-35 minutes. cool 30 minutes on a rock (cobbler will thicken as it cools)
