Homemade Meat Sauce

Ingredients

• For 3 meat sauce add:
• 1 lb ground beef
• 1 medium onion, chopped
• 2 cloves garlic
• 2 tsp dried parsley
• 2 tsp dried basil
• 1 tsp sugar
• 1 large can crushed tomatoes
• 1 15oz can tomato sauce
• 1 lb Italian sausage
• 1/2 lb Linguisa, peeled and chopped
• 1 can diced tomatoes, partially drained
• add 1 - 2 times more of all the above spices

Preparation

Step 1

Brown meat and onions

mix in spices and brown for a couple of minutes, then add tomatoes

Heat to boiling, reduce to low. Simmer for 45 min
