Ingredients

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 cup shortening
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3/4 cup water

Step 1

Combine flour, salt and baking powder. Add to shortening and mix. Pour in water and mix well.

This is enough dough for 2 large pies. Left over dough may be kept in the refrigerator in waxed paper.

Use as desired in recipes.
