Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 cups walnuts, pecans, or almonds
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tbs sugar
- 1 tbs cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg

Step 1
Toast the nuts a bit in a skillet, continue to stir so they don’t burn. Remove from skillet. Melt butter in skillet, stir in the nuts and the 1/2 cup sugar, stir occasionally until sugar melts- 5-10 min. In a large bowl mix spices and remaining sugar. Stir in the nuts. Spread over wax paper- cool 20 min. Separate them and store in zip lock bags or covered container.
