Ingredients

  • 1-18 ounce can refrigerated sugar cookies
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3/4 cup old fashioned oats
  • 1/2 cup butterscotch chips
  • 2-1.55 milk chocolate candy bars unwrapped and chopped

Step 1

Heat oven to 350*. Grease 1 large or 2 small cookie sheets with shortening or cooking spray. In large bowl, break up cookie dough. Stir or knead in brown sugar and vanilla until well mixed. Stir or knead oats, butterscotch chips and chocolate [dough will be stiff]. Drop dough by rounded 1/4 cupfuls 2 inches apart onto cookie sheets. Flatten each with fingers to 1/2 inch thickness. Bake 13 to 18 minutes or until cookies are slightly puffed and edges are golden brown. Cool 1 minute, remove from cookie sheets.
