  • 2 Tbsp. Olive oil
  • 2 lbs seven steaks. (the cheap round steaks)
  • 1 cup chopped green onion
  • 1/2 c. Chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/2 c chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 c. Choppedfresh mushrooms
  • 1 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1 Tbsp worchestershire sauce
  • 1/4 . Tsp Kitchen Bouquet
  • salt to taste
  • lousians hot sauce



Step 1

Heat the oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat and brown the mat on both sides. Remove from the pot and set aside. In the drippings, sauté the onions, green onions, green peppers, and parsley untilmthe onions are clear, stirring occasionally. Stirring, add the mushrooms and wine (or broth), then the garlic and continue cooking another ten minutes. Add red bell pepper, worchestershire, Kitchen Bouquet. Then add the meat back to the pot, along with the salt and hot sauce stir again. Cover and cook on low heat for 2 to 3 minutes hours. Serve over hot cooked rice or pasta.
