- 1 pie crust
- 7-8 granny smith apples peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup quick oats
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup jarred caramel topping

Step 1
1. Thaw pie crust and preheat oven to 375. Throw the apples into a large bowl with the sugar, flour, salt, and lemon jucie.
2. Stir them around to combine. let them sit for a few minutes while you make the crumb topping.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the butter, flour, brown sugar,a nd salt with a pastry blender until the mixture is crumbly and lumpy. Add the oats and pecans, then stir it to combine completely.
4. Mound the apples into the pie crust then sprinkle on all the topping.
5. Lightly cover the crust edges with foil and bake the pie for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and continue baking for another 25 to 30 minutes, until the top if golden brown. Watch the top as it bakes, and if it seems like it's browning too quickly, cover the pie with aluminum foil. Revoe it from the oven, drizzle the caramel sauce all over the top of the pie.
