Jim's Garlic Parsley Rub

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 cup prepared horseradish
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 shallots, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or less if desired)
  • juice and zest of 1 lemon
  • salt to taste
  • 1/3 cup olive oil (or more to produce a paste)

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Slowly add oil as you blend. Mix until smooth. Store in an air tight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
