Ingredients
- 1-14 ounce bag of Kraft caramels
- 1-5 ounce can evaporated milk
- 1 box super moist German chocolate cake mix
- 2/3 cup butter
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1-6 ounce semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup flaked coconut

Step 1
Heat oven to 350*. Heat caramels and 1/4 cup of the milk in saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly until caramels are melted and keep mixture warm. Mix cake mix [dry] remaining milk and the nuts. Spread 1 1/2 cup in ungreased rectangular pan 13x9x2 inch. Bake 6 minutes, remove from oven. Sprinkle chocolate chips and coconut over baked layer. Drizzle caramel. Drop remaining dough by tsp onto caramel layer. Spread evenly. Bake until cake portion is slightly dry to touch, 15 to 20 minutes. Cool and refrigerate until firm.
